OPI Sprung is one of my newfound fall-time nail polish loves. It's like a combination of cinnamon spiced pumpkin lattes with glitter pumpkins and falling leaves. There are no other words. It wears with a much coppery-red-orange-pink tone than just rose gold, and these photos definitely don't do it any justice! I'd say check out Swatch & Learn for better quality/color-matched swatches. It literally looks like glowing foil on my fingertips and I love it so, so much. The fomulation is standard, a bit "wetter" or almost waterier (is that even a word?) than the opaque creme finishes OPI puts out (I'm thinking of Do You Lilac It? as a comparison) but it applies like a coat of sparkly liquid foil. It reminds me a lot of the OPI DS collection of holographic nail polishes, though I don't think this is a part of it (I'm pretty sure it's part of the Mariah Carey collection). It's got good coverage but is a little light on the first coat. Second coat smooths it all out and darkens the polish, reducing all possibility of streakiness but I gave this an extra coat just because I was painting my nails at like 1 in the morning and I couldn't tell if they were as perfect as could be. I opted to skip the top coat to give it a more antiqued metal look and it's already worn for three days, no chips! Sprung is such a unique color unlike any other metallic I've seen and just puts me in a cozy fall mood even though the weather here is ridiculous. I go out wearing a sweater in the morning and am sweating by mid-afternoon when I come home to change into shorts (only to pull on some warm socks and sweat pants a few hours later), but pay no mind to the weather gods! Sprung gives me a spring in my step as I start to fall into my autumn routine.
