I'm a week late, but please forgive me! February ended abruptly and March came on in full force, and here I am sat trying to catch a breath from this whirlwind of activity to finally wrap up last month's faves. I noticed that I collected an entire face's worth of products so let me break it down for ya!
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation. I wrote a first-impression type review on this (if your interested in checking it out), but I've grown to love it more and more every day! It's literally the Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation in liquid form, and at 1/3 of the price. Smooth, satin finish and light-to-medium application make this one an everyday staple.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer - Brightener. I ran out of my beloved "Light" color of this cult favorite under-eye concealer this month and opted for the salmon-toned "Brightener" version when repurchasing this month. I think I like this even more than the Light one because it really does brighten my face up considerably and works as a concealer, highlight, and overall face-perfector!
Sleek Face Form Contouring Palette (Light) - Bronzer. I picked this product up while in the UK last summer and really rediscovered it this month after trying to achieve that perfect EssieButton look with the light eye and contoured cheekbones. This bronzer gives the perfect shadow to the face without overdoing it to give a subtle lift.
NYX Powder Blush - Peach. There's nothing really peachy about this dolly pink blush, but I am loving it for the transition into spring! It brings life back into my face after my marathon of 4-5 hours of sleep per night these past few weeks (yikes).
MUA Undress Me Too Eyeshadow - Tranquil. Also a UK find (I'm just really missing it!), I heard this was a Naked palette dupe so I had to try it. I'm not super impressed with the pigmentation in all of the shadows, but the bottom left shadow has given me life this month. I love just sweeping it across my lid for an all-over wash with some mascara on an easy day and some eyeliner when I want to amp it up a little.
Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss - Bright Side of Life. The days are getting longer and sunnier which means I'm busting out the corals again and this lipgloss has been my go-to in the morning. Super creamy, not sticky, and color payoff that gives a shine and a coral tint without being too in-your face, every on-the-go girl should invest in an Essence lippie -- they're super affordable and you won't regret it!

I have just the normal Sleek Contour kit and I've been loving the bronzer as well! It's just so easy to sweep on for everyday, adding warmth and dimension! The Essence gloss looks gorgeous as well, definitely a shade I would use often!

The bronzer is so good! I haven't quite figured out the blush yet, and I'm really sad. It's like... not that pigmented? So I'm wondering if I have to work through the top layer, but who knows...
ReplyDeleteYes! I never knew how to use bronzer to contour until I used this, and it's so easy!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to pick up the Maybelline eraser concealer for weeks - you've swayed me :-)
