I've been really into simple color schemes with pops of bright accessories and I've noticed that a lot of the images I've been attracted to both on Tumblr and Pinterest feature pale, minty blues with bright bold magentas and pinks. It's one of my favorite color combinations and I'm even considering decorating my post-uni apartment with these as my accent shades among black, white, and taupe neutrals (siiigh, we can all dream, right?). Here's a simple collage of some of my favorite photos that inspired this post featuring a collection of adorable pink and blue items that I'd love to incorporate into my wardrobe. I think I'm finally learning how to accessorize in a more sophisticated manner (ohohoho) and becoming less afraid of bright, blaring color like this awesome Kate Spade bag, and bold pieces like this ombre necklace from Humble Chic NY. The easiest (and most fun in my opinion) way to add a pop of color is by going bold on the nail which is why I've also picked out these two beautiful polishes that would complement any summer look!
