Top 10 Under $10

I am a devoted drugstore makeup junkie, to the point where if I find something high-end that looks nice, I won't justify buying it until I can exhaust my extensive search for a lower-end alternative. Honestly, since I'm no makeup guru or professional working woman I figure that I don't need super pricey products to satisfy my cosmetic cravings. I also don't have the budget to blow on $40 mascaras and $100 palettes - oh the life of a college student. However, I have found many fantastic products at the drugstore that do a really great job at making me look like I know what I'm doing, and all of the things featured in this post basically makes up my everyday makeup routine.

1. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation ($7.49)
I never knew what "melt into your face" foundation meant until I tried this one. It literally goes on so nicely and evens out my skin tone leaving a dewey finish that looks so natural and pretty!

2. Real Techniques Stippling Brush ($9.99)
This brush is great for thicker foundations and cream blushes, and leaves a nice soft finish to the face. You can find the Real Techniques line at your local ULTA or online. I can't wait to get my hands on the Expert Face Brush next!

3. Wed n Wild Princess Bronzer ($3.58)
A great all-around bronzer with slight shimmer so as not to make your face look dead (or orange)!

4. NYX Powder Blush - Pinched ($5.99)
This is my absolute favorite makeup product of all time. The pinky peach with golden shimmer looks fantastic on my cheeks and gives me a natural flush of color that's perfect all year round. NYX products can be found at ULTA, and they have regular BOGO 50% off sales!

5. Rimmel Show Off (Apocalips) - Celestial ($5.49)
I love this product because not only is the color gorgeous, but it really stays a long time and the color payoff is awesome. The Show Off lip lacquers are currently sold as Walgreens exclusives.

6. Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow - Nutty ($1.99)
It's been compared to MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow but for a fraction of the price. It's my go-to color for all over the lid on an easy eye day. It looks nice both on it's own or intensified over a cream shadow.

7. NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil - Yogurt ($4.49)
I didn't really get the hype about this until I started really using it. It's so easy to wear this all over my lid and blend it out for a summery shimmer look with just some mascara, or as an inner corner highlight, waterline brightener, and as a base for other eyeshadows. The creamy beige-peach color is really natural but flattering as well.

8. CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara ($6.94)
I thought I was a die-hard Maybelline The Falsies user until I discovered this through a recommendation from a friend. Not only does it volumize, but also separates and coats each lash so my lashes really stand out and look long and full. I did a photo review of it here!

9. Essie Infatuation ($8.00)
I don't hear many people talking about this slightly muted bubblegum pink, but it is my all-time favorite and most-used nail polish. It looks so cute and girly and the formulation is really creamy and smooth.

10. Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Moroccan Argan Oil ($6.99)
I didn't know what my hair was missing until I tried using this. It really makes the ends of my hair shiny and smooth, though it can be a bit heavy if you use too much at once (though diluting it with water should help avoid that problem). I run it through my damp hair, let it sit for a little, and then blow dry and it even sped up my drying time. After using this I went to get my hair cut and my hairdresser commented that my hair wasn't damaged at all after 6 months without a trim and lots of heat styling.

*Prices for all products vary depending on the place of purchase.

Bahaha ohmygosh, I know right. The drugstore is seriously a problem for me because I'm always excited to try new things out for cheap. I'd really recommend getting the Apocalips - seriously my most work lip item atm.

    1. Yeah, it's definitely like a liquid lipstick more than a gloss so the color payoff is amazing!
